Our Funders
EIN is a non-profit organisation registered as an association in Strasbourg, Alsace, France (Volume 95, Folio n 4, registration of 6 January 2017).
In March 2021, EIN received the Equivalency Determination certification. The certification was renewed in December 2022 and is valid until 31/12/2023. The ED certification process was completed with NGOsource.
Core funders
Project funding
In addition, EIN benefits from the support for specific projects. The Mercator Stiftung is currently supporting a 3-year EIN project on „Developing an EU response to the non-implementation of judgments of European Courts“, until March 2026.
The Swedish Postcode Lottery, the Isocrates Foundation and the Fritt Ord Foundation are supporting a 2-year project related to the implementation of judgments on freedom of speech/freedom of expression. This project started in June 2023. Fir more about this project here.
The Permanent Representation of the Netherlands to the Council of Europe supports a 1-year project about the independence of the judiciary, which started in January 2024.
