Freedom of assembly is a fundamental human and political right essential in any democratic society.
This interview series highlights the story behind the GENDERDOC-M case, concerning freedom of assembly for protests associated with LGBTI rights in Moldova.
We discuss the case with the applicant organisation’s Executive Director, Anastasiia Danilova, and with LGBTI rights activist and former board member at ILGA-Europe, Nigel Warner, who were engaged with the implementation process of this case.
We aim to honour and showcase individuals who work hard to advocate for the full and effective implementation of this case.
